Come to Egypt

This temple was probably the most famous temples in Egypt. Abu Simbel was dug in a mountain range in 1290-1224. There is a “small temple” right near it, and both of them would’ve been sunk if people didn’t help to relocate it. There is an artificial lake called “Lake Nasser” that was right by it, and because the lake was there, it over flooded and that’s why they had to relocate it. Pharaoh Ramesses the second built this temple, and it was officially dedicated to triad Amon-Ra, Ptah and Ra-Harakhte, but the main purpose was erect it to glorify himself. Abu Simbel is a very pretty site, and I would tell anybody to go there!
